Slow down. Unwind. Reconnect.

A slower world is a better world. With life moving faster than ever, it's important to slow down and connect with the things that really matter to us. That’s why we started Slow Norfolk - a collection of lovingly restored old Norfolk properties available for stays and shoots.

Mark loves architecture and renovation. I love interior design - combining the vintage and the modern for cool, comfy and cosy places to stay. And so, 15 years ago, we moved from the city to the glorious Norfolk countryside to work on our first renovation together - a 400-year-old weavers cottage to bring back to life.

Since then we’ve restored and renovated a number of amazing old properties - many of which are available to rent for slow-living stays or photoshoots. History is all around you in Slow Norfolk properties, and all from the comfort of elegant minimalist interiors.

You want it to be quiet but not isolated. You want it to be beautiful, but comfortable.

You want history and heritage, but modern amenities. You want rustic and real but you still want creature comforts and luxury touches.

You want nature all around you, but not be 100 miles from a local pub and a place to park. You want to be left alone, but know that people are on hand if you need. You want to unwind and relax in comfort. That's why those that know, travel up to Norfolk.

Try a little slow living with Slow Norfolk.

Norfolk countryside and all of its natural beauty is at your disposal. Stand on the threshold, breathe the air and listen to the sounds of trees in the breeze and the wildlife all around you.

So, here’s to snoozing the alarm and a late breakfast; to country walks and restful evenings; to the sights, sounds and smells of the great outdoors.

Here’s to slowing down and reconnecting.
